A Cotswold manor house in an idyllic lakeside setting
Campden House, near Chipping Campden in Gloucestershire, in its idyllic setting, seen from across the lake, in which its ghostly outline is reflected.
William Morris once referred to nearby Broadway as the most perfect village in England. Whilst it is, admittedly, stunning, personally it was here at Campden House that I was reminded of Morris's 'The Earthly Paradise'. I truly cannot imagine anything closer to perfection than this house, its wonderful buttressed stone barn and dovecote, stable buildings, glorious gardens and its idyllic setting within the Cotswold landscape.
