The heart of tea-scented English Rose 'Graham Thomas'
A close-up (macro) view of the gloriously ruffled, golden petals of Rosa 'Graham Thomas'. Bred by David Austin and one of his celebrated English Roses. Unusually, it has an exquisite tea scent, lost in the excessive breeding of hybrid tea roses in the 1950's to 1970's, but recaptured by Mr.Austin's meticulous breeding skills. Named after Graham Stuart Thomas, the eminent rose expert and enthusiast who created the wonderful rose gardens at Mottisfont Abbey.
