Red Autumn foliage & 'Dornfelder' grapes
Bunches of immature green grapes hang amidst reddening Autumn foliage on a Vitis vinifera 'Dornfelder' vine.
This outdoor variety is very productive, bearing a good number of bunches of grapes from an early age. The grapes mature to black and are used commercially in Britain to make a rose wine. If left to fully mature on the vine, the grapes are sweet enough for dessert use too.
